What is IPO subscription status?
IPO subscription status shows how many times an IPO has been subscribed across investor categories — QIB (qualified institutional buyers), NII/HNI (non-institutional investors) and retail. A figure of '2x' means the category received bids for twice the shares on offer.
How do I check live IPO subscription status?
This page shows live subscription figures (times subscribed) by category for IPOs that are currently open or recently closed, updated through each bidding day. You can also check the NSE or BSE 'bid details' pages during the subscription window.
Does a high IPO subscription mean a good listing?
A high subscription — especially strong QIB and NII demand — often signals investor interest, but it does not guarantee listing gains. Subscription is one indicator among many and is not investment advice.
